 CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (March 27, 2007)--Jessica Connolly Johnson has joined Joseph Decosimo and Company, PLLC, as part of the firm’s marketing expansion.
As Marketing Coordinator, Jessica Johnson will handle the media relations and internal communications for the CPA firm’s Chattanooga office, as well as coordinate the marketing efforts for all of Decosimo’s regional offices.
“Our firm’s growth throughout the region has created a need to expand our marketing services, not just for our Chattanooga office, but for the firm’s entire system,” said Nick Decosimo, Managing Principal for Decosimo in Chattanooga. “The talent that Jessica brings to the firm will certainly help Decosimo meet the needs of our internal customers, while we continue to market Decosimo’s accounting and business advisory services for continued firm growth.”
Mrs. Johnson comes to the firm with nearly five years of marketing and communication experience with nonprofit, healthcare and retail organizations.
Most recently, Mrs. Johnson directed communications and supported the marketing efforts for United Way of Greater Chattanooga. During that time, she tripled the organization’s media coverage and assisted in its rebranding efforts. Mrs. Johnson planned special events and designed marketing materials for four annual fundraising campaigns that each raised more than $11 million to support services for the greater Chattanooga community.

Mrs. Johnson, a Chattanooga native, obtained Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and English from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is a member with the local chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
