John
H. Hatcher and Larvizo Wright, proofreaders in Decosimo's Chattanooga
office, were recently inducted into Beta Alpha Psi. Beta Alpha
Psi is a national fraternity for students pursuing degrees in finance
and accounting and is recognized for its excellence in supplementing a
student's education. Membership in Beta Alpha Psi includes those persons of good moral character
who have achieved scholastic and/or professional excellence in the fields
of accounting, finance, or information systems, who have been initiated
by an existing chapter and who remain in good standing.
John,
a Senior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, was also
honored for his outstanding community service with the Most Outstanding Member award. Members of Beta
Alpha Psi are required to participate in at least two acts of
service to the community. Hatcher devoted time to six community
service programs helping organizations like the Ronald McDonald House,
and working with organizations that raise money for cancer research and
groups that collect toys for needy children at Christmas. He
joined the Decosimo staff in September 2003.
Larvizo Wright is a Junior at UTC. He too devotes valuable
time to community outreach projects in Chattanooga. He joined the
Decosimo staff in September 2004. Both John and Larvizo are from Memphis, Tennessee.
