Chattanooga-based firm is latest of Top 100 to sign up for group geared to members with $15 million or more in annual fees
Joseph Decosimo and Company, PLLC (Decosimo) is pleased to announce it has joined a new global alliance (as yet to be named) of accounting firms with annual fees of $15 million or more. Decosimo, headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, has joined seven other Top 100 firms in the new association. The organization provides an alternative way for larger, more sophisticated firms to leverage their resources, share best practices and offer clients access to international services. Members, typically major regional firms, focus on serving larger private and smaller public companies.
The new association is well on its way to meeting its goal of doubling in size within the year. Besides Decosimo, current members are Wipfli LLP (Wisconsin/Minnesota), Goodman & Company (Virginia), Mahoney Cohen & Company, CPA, P.C. (New York City), Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC (Alabama), Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP (California), Armanino Mckenna, LLP (California), and Rea & Associates, Inc. (Ohio). Two other Top 100 firms, with combined annual revenues of more than $50 million, may sign on in the next 30-60 days.
Founded in 1971, Decosimo is a major regional firm in the Southeast and South Central area, with offices in Chattanooga and Memphis, Tennessee, Atlanta and Dalton, Georgia, and Cincinnati, Ohio. The firm has approximately 200 professionals and staff, including 27 partners. Industry specialties include alternative finance, financial institutions, healthcare, investment funds, manufacturing and real estate. Decosimo Corporate Finance provides valuation services with six ABV-credentialed professionals, debt and equity financing, and assistance in acquisitions and divestitures.

The alliance’s formation is being temporarily facilitated by Allan D. Koltin, CPA, President and CEO of PDI Global, Inc. in Chicago. In addition to recruiting additional members, the group is looking for an international alliance partner to provide services outside the country.
