Decosimo Professionals to Discuss Ethics and Forensic Accounting at NACVA Conference

(May 23, 2012)–Principal Mike Costello, CPA, ABV, ASA, CFE,CFF and Senior Manager Pam Mantone, CPA, CFE, CFF, FCPA, CITP, CGMA, of Decosimo, a Top 100 accounting and business advisory firm, will present on ethics and forensic accounting topics at the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts’ (NACVA) 2012 Annual Consultants’ Conference in Dallas, Texas, June 20-23.  Mr. Costello will present “Ethics and Standards Considerations for Forensic and Valuations Services” and Ms. Mantone will present “Using Analytics to Detect Fraud.”

Mr. Costello’s experience includes extensive consulting work and testimony in tax, accounting, financial, economic, and business issues of commercial litigation with emphasis on business valuation, economic damage and forensic accounting issues. Mr. Costello is qualified to serve as an expert witness in U.S. District Courts, Circuit Courts and Chancery Courts.

Ms. Mantone has performed forensic and fraud auditing services for organizations, including the gathering of forensic evidence and testifying to findings. She also provides consulting services regarding implementation of fraud prevention and fraud detection internal control systems. Ms. Mantone practices in the areas of audit and attestation with emphasis on forensic accounting, fraud examinations, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, and governments.
