Shannon Farr Earns Certified in Financial Forensics Credential
CHATTANOOGA, TN (August 13, 2010) – Shannon Farr, a business valuation manager with Decosimo Advisory Services, has recently been awarded the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The CFF credential, established in 2008 by the AICPA, is granted to qualified certified public accountants (CPAs) who meet the experience and education requirements specific to the field of financial forensics. A certified public accountant accredited in business valuation (CPA•ABV) licensed in Tennessee and Alabama, Ms. Farr has more than 15 years of accounting experience. Ms. Farr specializes in business valuation and litigation support services relating to marital dissolutions, shareholder disputes, sale and purchase transactions, estate and gift tax determinations, shareholder settlements and minority interest buy-outs. Ms. Farr provides expert witness services related to business valuation and economic damages matters. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Tennessee, she is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, where she has served on the Healthcare Conference Committee. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
