Jennifer Goodman Named Decosimo Principal

CHATTANOOGA, TN (January 25, 2011)–Joseph Decosimo and Company, PLLC has named Jennifer Goodman, CPA, a principal with the Chattanooga office of the accounting and business advisory firm. 

A key member of the firm's manufacturing and not-for-profit niche service teams, Ms. Goodman provides audit and other assurance services to companies ranging from large international publicly-held manufacturers to privately held manufacturing and distribution clients, as well as educational institutions and health and welfare organizations.

As a graduate of both The Leadership Academy and the prestigious two-year business development program The Rainmaker Academy, Ms. Goodman also contributes to Decosimo’s business development efforts taking an active role in cultivating new business opportunities and providing leadership with staff training initiatives. She serves as the program coordinator for Decosimo’s Chattanooga assurance division’s Personal Development Plan program and also serves as a committee member for the firm’s business development committee and the accounting and auditing research team.

She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Her primary community service commitments include volunteering on the board of directors for the Craniofacial Foundation of America and serving on the audit committee for the City of Chattanooga. She recently completed a three-year term as treasurer for the American Red Cross–Greater Chattanooga Area.
