Decosimo Fraud Examiner Presents Fraud Update at IMA Meeting

CHATTANOOGA, TN (May 23, 2012)–Senior Manager Sharon Hamrick, CPA, CFF, CFE, of Decosimo, a Top 100 accounting and business advisory firm, presented the Annual Fraud Update on May 23 for the Chattanooga Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). This was the second year that Ms. Hamrick, a CPA certified in financial forensics and a certified fraud examiner, was asked to be the speaker for the fraud update, which qualifies as continuing professional education for IMA members.

Ms. Hamrick specializes in commercial litigation support, internal control assessments and forensic accounting, specifically as it relates to the deterrence and investigation of suspicions of corporate fraud. She has extensive experience in financial analysis and preparation of expert reports for state and federal courts, especially related to litigation involving fraud, contract disputes, breach of contract, manufacturing and supply disputes, wrongful termination, personal injury and wrongful death.
