Decosimo Cincinnati to Host Tax Seminar for Restaurant Industry Leaders

Decosimo's Cincinnati office will host a seminar to discuss advanced tax issues facing the restaurant industry on September 4, 2008. The seminar will bring together several individuals with extensive experience in the restaurant industry for a discussion of the issues and potential solutions available in today’s market place.

Have you discovered the joys of gift cards? Find out how to properly defer, for income tax purposes, unredeemed gift card sales. How are you managing your FIN 48 compliance? If you have not adopted FIN 48, are you prepared to adopt at the end of 2008? Are your transaction taxes giving you a case of heart burn? Are you concerned about managing your tax department function?

We will address all of these issues as well as report on some of the more recent tax developments in the industry. The seminar will take place at our Cincinnati office at 9:30 a.m. Speakers for the seminar are Vic Merkel and Jason Hamilton, both CPAs with our firm.

For more information, please contact Racheal Griffin by phone at 513.562.1213 or email rachealgriffin@decosimo.com no later than August 29.
