Reducing time and expense of external audits
Our assurance services can be coordinated with external audit services allowing external auditors to perform their work more efficiently and reduce the time and expense associated with their external audit services.
We currently have outsourcing arrangements with three financial institutions to provide internal audit services. In recent years we have also served as a consultant to existing internal audit departments of financial institutions and manufacturing companies.
We do not provide both internal and external audit services to the same clients, as this would place us in the position of auditing our own work. The collapse of Arthur Andersen in the wake of irregularities at Enron provides a clear illustration of the dangers of such an arrangement.
We provide a variety of internal audit services, such as:
