Jack Segers specializes in corporate and individual tax practice, estate planning, succession planning, and general business taxation. He has been with Joseph Decosimo & Company since 1979, primarily in the tax department. Previously, Jack served as an agent for the Internal Revenue Service.

Jack is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), the Chattanooga Tax Practitioners and is a former board member of the Estate Planning Council.

Jack has served in numerous clerical and ecclesiastical positions at his Southern Baptist church, including chairman of finance. He had a major role in the creation of the Chattanooga R.E.A.D. Foundation and has served as its treasurer. Jack was the former president of the Expressway Optimists’ Club.

Jack earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is a certified public accountant in the state of Tennessee.
