Darcia Wise is a certified public accountant (CPA) and tax manager with Decosimo’s Chattanooga office. She has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting. Her areas of expertise include individual, estate, trust and gift taxation. She works extensively with high-net-worth individuals and their estates, charitable trusts, estate planning and gift tax implications.  

Darcia also handles individual income and social security tax issues for globally mobile individuals and works with many expatriates. Her services in this area include assistance with inbound and outbound U.S. tax compliance, tax protection/equalization calculations for expatriate employees of U.S. companies, and international tax minimization planning. 

Darcia is actively involved in staff development programs at Decosimo, providing training and leadership on tax issues and tax research projects.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and Chattanooga Tax Practitioners. 

Darcia graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga earning a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Accounting.
